Health tips for the frequent traveller

Travel tends to favor quick junk food or heavy luxury food. With long flights, decadent foods, and little time for the gym, traveling can take its toll. Here are some quick tips to improve your travel health.


Drink

- Drink, drink, drink. Flying, changing time zones, switching weather patterns, and sitting in airports or hotels are dehydrating. The more water you drink, the easier the trip is. So stay well hydrated. Carry a water bottle and keep sipping through the journey.

- Avoid tea and coffee on the flight and 60 mins prior to boarding and post landing.


Stay -Pick hotels that offer gym access and yoga mats. If you travel long distances utilize airpot take a long walk within the airport before you jump on to next flight. Use yoga room for quick yoga or use airport lounge for chairs yoga session


Food - Banana is your best friend, it is available everywhere and in every season. Banana is good source of energy to get you through the business and stress of air travel, packed with fiber and small amounts of protein & comes in echo friendly packing ;) - Carry peanuts, cashews, pistas, etc.
