Ah, sweet Portland, with your beautiful mountains, relaxed vibe, and boho chic sensibility. You are simply the perfect place to be.
Right outside the city of Portland, there is the stunning Columbia River Gorge, home to many beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls. Multnomah Falls is by far my favorite. A great side effect of the Portland area’s wet winter weather is a steady stream of cascades running throughout the region in the spring, summer, and fall seasons.
If you’re a bit more adventurous, try Lower Oneonta Falls—hikers have to traverse an infamous log jam and an icy creek to find the 100ft falls. Or you can drive up and down I-84 to check out Bridal Veil Falls, Latourell Falls. Stop by at Crown point for a spectacular view & quick coffee.
Hiking
Climb a volcano. Mount Tabor is a volcanic cinder cone that's now home to a city park, where you can walk on paved or dirt trails, enjoy a picnic, On a clear day, you can see Mt. Hood from the top.

Solera Brewery : Brewery with the view of the most spectacular view of Mt. Hood towering over our back patio area.
Deschutes brewery : Deschutes, sustainably brewing beer and getting it out to our fans with the lowest impact on the planet as possible is engrained in everything we do.

Voodoo Donuts: Specializes in gourmet donuts and coffee, Good Things Come In Pink Boxes.
Trillium Lake: It is a truly beautiful lake with an impressive view of Mount Hood in the background providing a double image with its lake reflection for photographs.
