Updated: Jul 22, 2022

Boston

Ah, Boston, with its incredible culture. Student-friendly but still buttoned up chic. Boston is my favorite city to visit during springtime or in early fall. But don’t expect to just kick back and relax. Boston is a city defined by its history and sports culture. Boston is the spirit of America!

Freedom Trail & Boston common

Freedom Trail

If you are in Boston on a sunny summer day, follow the red brick road around Boston’s iconic landmarks. This self-guided tour is called the Freedom Trail. On the trail, you can find Boston Massacre at the site, Old South Meeting House, and the Massachusetts State House along with a beautiful view of the Boston Common.

Boston Common has local vendor shops with local food and many talented street performers. All in all fun place to spend the summer afternoon.

If you are interested in shopping you can find nice shopping areas near the Boston Common, Downtown Crossing, and the Boston Opera House. All three spots are connected by train lines.

Boston Common

The cool market of food vendors, but it can be a little bit crowded – especially on weekends. If you are fan of sitcom Cheers you will find a small bar you can find Iconic bar in Faneuil Hall.

If you visit during winter time they have the most beautiful decoration around the Faneuil hall area.

The Harvard square is a popular hangout for university students and as such you will find laid back coffee shops, bookstores, and shops here, as well as some of the best restaurants in Cambridge. Another option is Cafe ArtScience, a restaurant that specializes in bringing food and science concepts together or stop for a quick bite at Tatte Bakery my personal go to spot.
