Coconut Chai Smoothie

With fresh ginger, spices, and even some protein if you please, this incredibly easy-to-make treat is the perfect afternoon satisfier or meal on the go. Especially during this time of stuffy noses and winter humdrum, some healthy body fuel and aromatic goodness could not feel more appropriate. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk unsweetened

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon Chai tea syrup

  • 1 teaspoon ginger

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Pinch of allspice

  • 2 tablespoons almond or cashew butter

  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut

  • Protein powder

  • 1 cup ice

How to make


1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until well combined.


2. Transfer to cups and serve topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
